Support services include a variety of paid options such as peer coaching, counseling, and family-focused assistance. These services are non-clinical in nature and are not licensed to prescribe antidepressants or offer medical advice.
Taper coaching is not a replacement for medical or mental health care. Coaches do not prescribe medications or take on any medical responsibilities. They can, however, provide guidance, educational resources, emotional support, and practical tools for navigating the tapering process. If requested, they may also collaborate with a client’s healthcare providers.
